Welcome

Welcome

My name is Morgan. I am a psychoanalytic therapist in Austin, Texas.

I work with people who are tired of managing everything, tired of being the one who holds it together, tired of carrying a nervous system that never quite settles. Many of my clients are deeply self-aware. They enjoy reading the books, will happily do the journaling, and overall have an understanding of their patterns intellectually. And yet, something stays stuck.

That is because insight alone does not change us. Relationship does.

I specialize in anxiety, OCD, family-of-origin wounds, and the particular exhaustion of loving someone with an addiction, or having grown up with one. I work with women who are starting to uncover their own strength after years of making themselves small, and men who are learning that vulnerability is not weakness. I work with young adults navigating who they are outside of their family's expectations, and with couples who want to stop repeating the same fight.

My approach is warm and direct. I pay attention. I will notice things, reflect them back, and sit with you in the discomfort of seeing yourself more clearly. There will be moments of laughter and moments of grief, sometimes in the same session. We go slow. We stay with what arises, even when the impulse is to move past it. Over time, something shifts.
